What I Bought this Month: March Makeup Haul!

Hi everyone! I wanted to do some kind of haul since I bought quite a lot of new makeup this month, so I figured I'd just do a monthly haul showing you everything I picked up this month! Let me know if you like these and maybe I'll make it a monthly thing! During the spring break, I made a little road trip to the US where I got to pick up some drugstore products that we don't have here in Canada, specifically Wet n' Wild and Milani. The CVS I went to didn't have the biggest selection, but I'm still really excited about the things I picked up! From Wet N' Wild I picked up the PhotoFocus Foundation , which I've heard great things about. I'm most excited about the highlighter I picked up in the shade 'Boozy Brunch' . I mean, how gorgeous does that look???  I also picked up two of the Liquid Catsuit Matte Liquid Lipsticks in the shades Nudist Peach and Give Me Mocha. You can see swatches of them on my Instagram here ! The Milani sectio

Review: Trying Out Acure Products

A little while back I was sent a lovely box of natural products from M Squared Brands (you can check out the entire haul here ). Three of the products were from Acure Organics , a brand that I definitely invite you to check out (if you haven't already!). Their range of products look incredible, and I'll definitely be picking up some more stuff from them. All their products are gluten, paraben, sulfate, phthalate, harmful preservative and artificial colour free too!   The first product of theirs that I picked up right off the bat was the Lavender Calming Body Lotion. This is such a nice lightweight moisturizer that absorbs extremely quickly. It's a great one to just throw into your handbag. I personally like to keep on my bedside table because the lavender scent is so nice and soothing to use before bed!  The Quick Fix Correcting Balm with argan oil and starflower is such a great product to use now in the winter, I've very quickly incorporated it into my daily

Review: Arbonne Makeup Primer

Disclaimer:  I was sent these products for free, for review purposes. All opinions, as always, are 100% my own! If there's one makeup product that I tend to forget to use in my routine, it's usually primer. I've tried out quite a few primers that I feel like don't do much for my makeup or just don't make much of a difference so I often tend to skip it. A few months ago I was sent some Arbonne samples to try out (you can read my review on the RE9 Advanced Line here ) so I was curious if this primer would do anything different for my skin. This primer is one of the silicone feeling ones that smooth out your pores and leave your skin super smooth . It reminds me a lot of the Benefit PoreFessional , minus the strong scent. This one has no scent , which I appreciate since my skin can be sensitive to scented products. Thankfully I don't have any negative reactions to silicone primers, but I know some people do, so keep that in mind. I definitely think

Natural Beauty Haul: Blogger Box from M Squared Brands

I've always been interested in delving into the world of natural beauty and skincare products, but I've never been too sure where to start. Fortunately for me, M Squared Brands sent me this lovely package filled with some amazing looking natural products that I cannot wait to review for you all! I've been trying out a lot of them since the package arrived, but I'll wait until I've formed concrete opinions on each before reviewing! I got quite a few products from the brand Acure, which I am excited to try out. I haven't yet tried out the Aromatherapeutic Moroccan Argan Oil but how amazing does that sound? I'll definitely be trying that one out very soon. The packaging on these products are also super cute! I also receieved the Lavender Calming Body Lotion and the Quick Fix Correcting Balm.  As someone who suffers from eczema, I was immediately drawn in by the Calendula Intensive Skin Recovery cream from the brand Weleda, and it's been the one ite

The Lip Pencil by BITE Beauty

Note: I received these items complimentary from Influenster and BITE Beauty for review purposes. As always, all opinions are 100% honest and my own!  Okay, real talk for a second. Lip pencils have never been my go-to makeup item. I've tried so hard to get into using lip pencils, but I really couldn't. Either they were too stiff and dragged on my lips, or I just found they didn't last and did nothing. So I was definitely intrigued to try out BITE Beauty's Lip Pencils. Could this be the product I've been looking for? I've heard such amazing things about their Amuse Bouche lipsticks, so I had high hopes that I would find similar quality in these pencils. From the first initial swatch of these, there's one thing I noticed that I've never experienced with any other lip pencils: these things are damn creamy. They apply so smoothly, it's essentially like they've repackaged a creamy lipstick into a pencil format. This does unfortunately mean tha

Colourpop 'Weenie' Super Shock Shadow (SWATCH)

This eyeshadow is so stunning on the eyes, you really have to try it to understand what I mean. I think I might have worn it every day for a week all over my lids with just a darker brown buffed into the crease. It's just so gorgeous. Colourpop's website describes this one as a "true rose gold" but it falls a bit more coppery on my skin tone I think. Its still such a pretty, satiny colour that looks even prettier when the light hits it. Definitely a must have if you're planning on ordering some shadows from Colourpop! xo

SEPHORA HAUL! (Mostly Skincare)

Have you ever gotten so frustrated with your current makeup or skincare situation that you frustratedly purchase a bunch of new products hoping to find something to make it all better? No? Just me? I was having the absolute worst time trying to deal with my skin lately. It's just been so incredibly dry and flaky, nothing in my current routine could fix it. My skin looks and feels terrible and my makeup looks just as bad. So I decided to purchase some new skincare things to help fix this issue.  The first things I picked up were the Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask and the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. I bought them in the smaller travel sizes since I never know how my skin is going to react to them and I didn't want to make a big investment in a product that would cause me to break out. I also picked up the Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil because my skin is painfully dry and everyone and their grandma has raved about this stuff.  I also decided to pi
