Drugstore Haul!!!


Hey everyone! I did a bit of makeup shopping at the drugstore today and I thought it'd be fun to share my purchases with you all!

Firstly, there some truly amazing sales going on so I definitely encourage you to go check out your nearest drugstores and hopefully find some great deals like I did! Secondly, this may not be the most interesting haul in the world (1. I'm on a budget and 2. I mainly focused on eye and lip products) but I'm so excited with my new purchases!!!

What I got:

-Marcelle Kohl Eyeliner in Black
-Annabelle Smudge Liner eyeliner in Wahine Blue
-Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipsick in Sugar Plum
-Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Wine With Everything (Pearl Finish)
-Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Violet Frenzy (Pearl Finish)
-Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Plum Velour (Shine finish)
-Nyx High Voltage Lipstick in Wine & Dine
-Nyx High Voltage Lipstick in Tiara


I'm so excited to give these a try. I purposefully chose a few lipsticks with a pearl finish because I have a feeling those are really going to be big this year. I love the pearl/metallic range Lime Crime has put out this season but I'm not a huge fan of the brand itself so I'm looking for similar products elsewhere! Hopefully these come out nice!

I will try all these out and report back if any of them are great! (or really really bad).

1 Year of Covid-19: A reflection

  It feels like just yesterday we were all feeling the anxiety and uncertainty of a new disease that was spreading quickly around the world that no one truly understood yet. We were facing the first wave of cases, the fear of going outside and being around people and the first round of quarantines and restrictions.  It feels like just yesterday, but also so long ago.  I, and I am sure many others, am feeling a mix of emotions.  Sad for the loss of comfort we once had. Grief for all the lives lost and permanently changed. Thankful for my health and that of my family.
