INFLUENSTER VOXBOX UNBOXING! #hairexpertise

Hi everyone!
So the people at Influenster ever so kindly selected me to receive one of the L'Oreal Hair Expertise VoxBoxes and it just arrived in the mail today! I have been looking forward to it's arrival for quite some time now, and I'm so pleased it's here!!
For those of you who may not know, Influenster is a site you can join for free and have the opportunity to recieve free products for review purposes! It's seriously a really great review community. You basically review products on the site and connect your social media accounts to it (don't worry, they don't post anything nor use any of your personal info) in order to have higher chances of being selected to receive free products. It's seriously that easy. Here is the link if you want to join; I highly recommend you check it out if you love reviewing products!!

Anyway, I thought some of you may enjoy a little post of the unboxing experience. The box itself was a bit scuffed up from the mail, but otherwise, everything was great...

As you can see, the box contains 3 full sized products, which were specifically selected for my hair type. I have quite thick, dry hair.
I received the "Extraordinary Oil" collection (Shampoo, Conditioner and Nourishing Mask Balm) which sounds like it'll be great for my dry hair, especially now in the winter.

I will be testing out these products for the next few weeks and I'll check back in with you. Of course, I will say that though these products were sent to me for free, whatever I say in my review is 100% my opinion and will not be influenced in any way by this. I'm not being paid to say anything, I was only very kindly sent these products to review. I'm very excited to try these out!!!

1 Year of Covid-19: A reflection

It feels like just yesterday we were all feeling the anxiety and uncertainty of a new disease that was spreading quickly around the world that no one truly understood yet. We were facing the first wave of cases, the fear of going outside and being around people and the first round of quarantines and restrictions.  It feels like just yesterday, but also so long ago.  I, and I am sure many others, am feeling a mix of emotions.  Sad for the loss of comfort we once had. Grief for all the lives lost and permanently changed. Thankful for my health and that of my family. Gratitude for the scientists and frontline workers alike, working tirelessly behind the scenes I hope that one day we can return to a new normal. I hope that one day I'll be able to go to work and not feel  afraid  to get too close to my coworkers and patients. I hope that no one will ever again have to face the end of their lives all alone. I hope that no one has their life cut short because of...
