Lush Haul!

So... I went to Lush the other day and thought I'd show you all some of the goodies I picked up from there! I had never actually been inside Lush or tried any of their products before, but I had heard such good things about them that I decided to change that! Here's some of the things I picked up! 1) Cynthia Sylvia Stout Shampoo (or as the lady in the store called it, "their famous beer shampoo") I was a little on the fence about getting this but I decided to give it a shot. I'll probably give it a full review later on. I got the 100mL bottle which was $9.95 2) Jasmine & Henna Fluff Eaze Hair Treatment I got this in hopes of finally finding a good hair treatment that will tame my thick, wild hair. What sold me is their claim that it will "smooth and soften fluffy, frizzy and dry hair". I've used it once so far, and it seems to have made a little bit of a difference. I'll write up a review of it once I've fi

I made these cute little muffins to have as a sweet little treat with a cup of coffee, or a quick little pick-me-up when the blood sugars falling a little low. They were soooo good, and they definitely haven't lasted long in my house! :) Its a miracle I was able to grab a few to photograph! So if anyones looking for a yummy, 2 bite treat, these are sure to be a hit, and they're quick and easy to make! Of course, if you don't have a mini muffin/cupcake pan, you can always make regular sized muffins! I figured that for my first review on this blog, I'd start with a product that is something of a staple in my skincare regime. I've been purchasing this scrub for about 2 years now and I have nothing but good things to say about it. One thing about this product that I love is how little product you need to get your face clean. Bonus: the bottle usually lasts quite a long time because of this, even if you use it every day. It smells so nice and fresh, and the menthol in it leaves your face feeling cool, tingly, refreshed, and of course, clean. Its also great to clean off face makeup. I'm pretty sure this product is suitable for all skin types as I tend to have extremely dry skin in the winter and oily skin in the summer and I use it all through the year without problems (although in the winter I usually use a good, thick moisturizer afterwards and in the summer I use a lighter one or none at all). My skin can also be sensitive but since this product isn't too
