2020 Project Pan

Hey everyone! So for 2020, I wanted to set myself some New Year's resolutions, as I always do, and one of them is definitely to focus on using up the makeup I currently have rather than buying more products! So to keep myself accountable, I decided to pick a selection of products for a Project Pan! Here are the products I want to either completely finish up by the end of 2020 or at the very least make a significant dent in them: So firstly I really want to make more of a dent in my Too Faced Sweet Peach palette! I've already hit pan on 5 shades so far but considering how much I was dying for this palette when it first came out, I'd love to use it up more! I definitely don't think I'll finish up the whole palette by the end of the year (I rarely use dark eye shadow colours so those deeper shades at the end will definitely not get that much use), but I'd love to use up more of it! The next product that I'd ideally like to finish is the Clarins

Coastal Scents Hot Pot 'New Penny' Swatch

Hey everyone! Today's Coastal Scents Hot Pot swatch is of 'New Penny' which honestly just blows my mind every time I use it because it truly has the pigmentation, blendability and just general quality of a higher end eyeshadow. You can see it just from the swatch. It is the most stunning copper shade that looks amazing all over the lid. I'm obsessed!!! Hope you're all having a lovely week so far! xo

Saturday Swatches: Clinique All About Eyeshadow Quad

I love Clinique skincare. But when it comes to their makeup products, I really haven't tried all that much. A while back  I went to a Cosmetics Company Outlet, and this quad was included in one of the sets I picked up. These aren't really colours I'd normally gravitate towards, but the more I look at it, the more I find it super pretty. The shadows themselves are very smooth and decently pigmented. I find them pretty easy to blend as well. My only issue with this quad is that I wish there was a matte transition shade. The shade 'Sunset Glow' might have been it, but it comes off a bit more on the metallic side when applied to the skin.  Regardless, you can still create a pretty and cohesive look using only this palette, for sure. I really do think this was a well thought out quad that gives you the basics you absolutely need: a creamy white/highlight shade, a crease shade, your pop of colour and a dark shade to smoke it up.  As you can see, San

Sephora Collection: My Beauty Notebooks: Eye, Face & Lip Palettes

Hi everyone! So I was browsing the Sephora website not too long ago, and of course, I couldn't help myself! One of the things I ordered were the Sephora Collection "My Beauty Notebooks". They are limited edition (and on sale right now!) and I couldn't resist picking them up. So these are 3 seperate palettes for the eyes, lips and face that look like little notebooks! They are super cute and the shadows in them are so incredibly functional. You can use them for natural, every day looks or for a more glamorous night time look. So the first palette is called Daily Chic and includes:  - 6 neutral eyeshadows - 2  Lip glosses  -  A Blush  -  A Bronzer  Next we have the Working It Palette which includes:  - 8 really wearable eyeshadows - 2 Highlighters And then the Ready For Tonight Palette which has:  - 6 bold eyeshadows - 2 Lip glosses  - A Blush  - A Bronzer If you're someone who loves their natural looking eyeshadows and don't need super colour

BH Cosmetics 28 Color "Smokey Eye" Palette

Hi everyone! So not too long ago I picked up the BH Cosmetics 28 color Smokey Eye palette and I knew I had to post about it on here because I am so excited about it and I can't wait to play around with it more because, I mean, look at it... The variety of shades in the palette allows you to create so many different kinds of looks. This palette was super affordable (I picked it up for $15) which I think is a fantastic value for the amount of shadows you're getting. Obviously the quality is not on par with more professional, high-end brands, but I was actually quite impressed with the quality of these shadows. The pigmentation is really good and I found them to be easy to blend and work with. I do recommend using them with a good eyeshadow primer or base (I use the Essence 'I Love Stage' eyeshadow base) which will hugely intensify the pigmentation and lasting power of the shadows. I am super in love with the purple shadows in the palette. They are so so pretty
