Review: Weleda Calendula Intensive Skin Recovery Cream

Hi everyone,
So if you've spent a little time on my blog before, you know I struggle with a lot of issues with my skin, mostly eczema related. Finding a good cream to help you out is always very hit or miss, but I love trying out new products in hope of finding a good one.

I was definitely very excited to try out the Calendula Intensive Skin Recovery cream from Weleda since I've been trying to steer myself towards more natural products to help out my skin and replace my steroid creams for good.

This cream surprised me - in a good way. It did not necessarily do anything miraculous for my eczema, but I noticed that while using this cream, my skin was healing much better than before. There was one particular rough area on my ankle that had been causing me issues for MONTHS and nothing would make it better; not even hydrocortisone. I used this on it for a week, and the difference was immense. After 2 weeks, it was completely healed.
All this to say, I really do think this cream has made a difference in my skin. It's not an immediate transformation but it definitely does wonders if you stick with it. I love it.

What's your ultimate skin-fix? Let me know in the comments!

Note: This product was sent to me for review purposes. As always, all opinions are 100% honest and my own!

Weleda Haul!

 Happy Friday everyone!
I got a lovely package a while back from the lovely folks at M Squared Brands full of products from Weleda. For those of you new to the brand, Weleda is a brand that has tons of amazing, high quality, all natural products, including, skincare, body care, hair care and even products for babies.

I was super excited to receive this box because this is definitely a brand I've been wanting to try out more from. I'm currently trying out these products, and full reviews will be up soon! Without further ado, here's what was in the box!
The first thing that stood out to me in thebox was the Calendula Intensive Skin Recovery cream. This is the one Weleda product I've tried in the past, and I'm in love with it. I'll be posting a full review about it soon, but trust me, this stuff is miraculous.
Next up are these 3 Evening Primrose products; The Age Revitalizing Day and Night Creams, as wellas the Revitalizing Body Wash. I'm very excited for these as I'm always on the hunt for a great night cream.
Finally, I got the Mighty Essentials bag (side note: how adorable is this? It would make a fantastic gift for someone who enjoys natural beauty). It includes:

  • Salt Toothpaste
  • Skin Food hand cream
  • Almond Soothing Facial Lotion
  • Arnica Massage Oil
  • Sea Buckthorn Creamy body wash

This also seems like a great kit to take travelling with you.

I'm so excited to get to test our these products! Let me know which ones intrigue you the most in the comments below!

Natural Beauty Haul: Blogger Box from M Squared Brands

I've always been interested in delving into the world of natural beauty and skincare products, but I've never been too sure where to start. Fortunately for me, M Squared Brands sent me this lovely package filled with some amazing looking natural products that I cannot wait to review for you all! I've been trying out a lot of them since the package arrived, but I'll wait until I've formed concrete opinions on each before reviewing!
I got quite a few products from the brand Acure, which I am excited to try out. I haven't yet tried out the Aromatherapeutic Moroccan Argan Oil but how amazing does that sound? I'll definitely be trying that one out very soon. The packaging on these products are also super cute! I also receieved the Lavender Calming Body Lotion and the Quick Fix Correcting Balm.
As someone who suffers from eczema, I was immediately drawn in by the Calendula Intensive Skin Recovery cream from the brand Weleda, and it's been the one item from the box that I've used the most consistently thus far. I'll definitely be doing a blog post on this product in the near future! I also received a body spray/perfume from them as well, in a citrus scent!
I was also sent peppermint gum from the brand Spry, a travel toothbrush from the brand Radius, a deodorant stick from the brand Lafe's and some lip balm from the Green Beaver Company, all of which I'm excited to test out. I've always been curious to switch to a natural deodorant, so I'm hoping this one is good! The lip balm as already found its place in my purse. Spoiler: it is really really good!

Expect a review on each of these products in the very near future!
Happy Friday!
