Huge Colourpop Haul!!

If there is one brand that I just cannot resist browsing (and ordering) from, it has to be Colourpop. A while back Colourpop was having free international shipping, which in other words means I couldn't help myself. Of course, I had to share everything I got because I'm SO excited!

I picked up a little bit of everything, and I'm really happy with everything. One of the Super Shock Shadows I ordered came in damaged unfortunately, but thankfully the texture of the shadows makes it really easy to just press it nicely back into the pot. Not the prettiest, but still works just as well.
Anyway, Here's what I picked up!:

Ultra Satin Lip in Chandelier
Ultra Matte Lip in Donut
Ultra Satin Lip in Cozy
Ultra Satin Lip in Bare Necessities
Ultra Glossy Lip in My Jam
Ultra Glossy Lip in Bestie (not pictured, I keep that one in my purse!)
I also got Mini Ultra Satin Lips in the shades Frick N' Frack, Prim, Dopey and Strip. Really excited to play around with these ones since they're not necessarily shades I would gravitate towards.

I finally picked up some of their pressed eyeshadows which I've been very curious about since they launched. I got the shades:
Double Date (Metallic Lavender)
Pinky Promise (Metallic Wine)
Come and Get It (Duochrome Rose with Gold Shift)
I also picked up the Heavy Hitter palette which features the shades:
Full Zip (Matte Ivory)
Ringer (Metallic Champagne)
Side Tracked (Matte Terracotta with gold flecks)
Top Notch (Matte Terracotta Brown)
I restrained myself into only buying 3 Super Shock Shadows this time (which I currently am regretting, but I'm sure my wallet is relieved). I picked up the shades:
Porter (burgundy with gold glitter)
Static (deep satin burgundy)
White Rabbit (pink copper)
(Note: Porter and Static are being discontinued, so you can pick them up on discount right now before they run out!)
I also picked up one of their highlighters in 'Wisp' which I am EXTREMELY excited to try out. It is so stunning in swatches!

And thats everything! I will likely be swatching everything in the upcoming weeks, but please comment below which ones you'd like to see swatched first!

Happy Friday everyone!

Weleda Haul!

 Happy Friday everyone!
I got a lovely package a while back from the lovely folks at M Squared Brands full of products from Weleda. For those of you new to the brand, Weleda is a brand that has tons of amazing, high quality, all natural products, including, skincare, body care, hair care and even products for babies.

I was super excited to receive this box because this is definitely a brand I've been wanting to try out more from. I'm currently trying out these products, and full reviews will be up soon! Without further ado, here's what was in the box!
The first thing that stood out to me in thebox was the Calendula Intensive Skin Recovery cream. This is the one Weleda product I've tried in the past, and I'm in love with it. I'll be posting a full review about it soon, but trust me, this stuff is miraculous.
Next up are these 3 Evening Primrose products; The Age Revitalizing Day and Night Creams, as wellas the Revitalizing Body Wash. I'm very excited for these as I'm always on the hunt for a great night cream.
Finally, I got the Mighty Essentials bag (side note: how adorable is this? It would make a fantastic gift for someone who enjoys natural beauty). It includes:

  • Salt Toothpaste
  • Skin Food hand cream
  • Almond Soothing Facial Lotion
  • Arnica Massage Oil
  • Sea Buckthorn Creamy body wash

This also seems like a great kit to take travelling with you.

I'm so excited to get to test our these products! Let me know which ones intrigue you the most in the comments below!

What I Bought this Month: March Makeup Haul!

Hi everyone! I wanted to do some kind of haul since I bought quite a lot of new makeup this month, so I figured I'd just do a monthly haul showing you everything I picked up this month! Let me know if you like these and maybe I'll make it a monthly thing!

During the spring break, I made a little road trip to the US where I got to pick up some drugstore products that we don't have here in Canada, specifically Wet n' Wild and Milani. The CVS I went to didn't have the biggest selection, but I'm still really excited about the things I picked up!
From Wet N' Wild I picked up the PhotoFocus Foundation, which I've heard great things about. I'm most excited about the highlighter I picked up in the shade 'Boozy Brunch'. I mean, how gorgeous does that look???
I also picked up two of the Liquid Catsuit Matte Liquid Lipsticks in the shades Nudist Peach and Give Me Mocha. You can see swatches of them on my Instagram here!
The Milani section of the CVS I went to was pretty wiped out (which is a shame because I really wanted to pick up the baked blush in Luminoso that everyone raves about!), but I still did get to pick up one of the (absolutely stunning) rose blushes in the shade Romantic Rose.

I also made a little trip to Sephora and picked up two products I've been wanting to try for a while. I finally caved and picked up the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz since I've been getting a bit more serious with my brow routine lately but a lot of brow products are way too pigmented for my already thick, dark brows. I figured this one would offer just the right amount of pigment to fill in my brows without making me look clown-like.
I also picked up the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in the shade Baci which is a really cool grey-mauve colour that pushes me out my comfort zone but still looks really cool. I honestly can't believe I waited this long to pick up one of these; the formula is INSANELY good.

What did you pick up this month? Let me know in the comments below and let me know which products you'd like a full review on!

SEPHORA HAUL! (Mostly Skincare)

Have you ever gotten so frustrated with your current makeup or skincare situation that you frustratedly purchase a bunch of new products hoping to find something to make it all better? No? Just me?
I was having the absolute worst time trying to deal with my skin lately. It's just been so incredibly dry and flaky, nothing in my current routine could fix it. My skin looks and feels terrible and my makeup looks just as bad. So I decided to purchase some new skincare things to help fix this issue.
The first things I picked up were the Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask and the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. I bought them in the smaller travel sizes since I never know how my skin is going to react to them and I didn't want to make a big investment in a product that would cause me to break out. I also picked up the Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil because my skin is painfully dry and everyone and their grandma has raved about this stuff.
I also decided to pick up a few overnight masks that I'm hoping will boost my skins moisture while I sleep. The little Sephora collection ones are so cute and tempting that I couldn't resist picking up more than one.
I love shopping from Sephora online because I'm a sucker for free samples. I also picked up the Urban Decay Vice Lipstick in Venom which was a 100 Point Perk. I was also super excited because when I made this order, Sephora was giving free sample bags of hydrating skincare for purchases over $25 (I know, how perfect right?)
I am so so excited to give these all a try. Most of these products are new to me so I'm very looking forward to trying these out. I have such a huge stash of sample sized products, it's getting a little out of hand, but I'm definitely going to put them to use (I swear!)
Let me know in the comments below if you'v tried any of the products I picked up!
Bonus question: do you have a big stash of samples?
Have a great week everyone!

A couple of weeks ago, I made (believe it or not), my very first Colourpop order. I put off ordering from Colourpop since International shipping can be pretty pricey, but I couldn't put it off any longer so I finally decided to pick up some things.
I wanted to try a little bit of everything I've heard a lot of hype around, so I picked up some of the Super Shock shadows, a matte liquid lipstick and a lippie stick. (Of course, with my luck, their pressed single shadows were released 2 days after I placed this order... so you know what my next order is going to be!)
The shadows I picked up were Weenie, KathleenLights, Sequin and Eye Candy. The liquid lipstick is in the shade 'Instigator' and the lippie stick is in 'Topanga'.
I put off ordering these for far too long, so I am incredibly excited to try them out and see what the hype is all about. They all look so incredibly pretty and they've got me so inspired to create gorgeous looks.
I'll be posting swatches of everything I ordered this week! Stay tuned ;)

Have a lovely week everyone!

HUGE Haul of Skincare Samples!

Those of you who know me know that I love a good free sample. I love buying sample sizes of products before committing to the real thing. So this is something I was VERY excited about.

Awhile back, Shopper's Drug Mart was having a Fall Beauty Bonus where with a $120 purchase of beauty products, you received a tote bag with a TON of sample sized products, primarily higher end skincare.

Personally, I like to save up my Optimum points for events like these.
I haven't gotten around to trying any of these products yet (because God knows, I have enough products to try that I'm covered for a lifetime), but I thought I'd post about what was included in the bag and see if there are any products in particular you'd like me to review first!

Here's what I got!
  • Clinique City Block Purifying Charcoal Cleansing Gel (I'm super excited to try this one out!)
  • Benefit Gimme Brow Eyebrow Gel
  • Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II
  • Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
  • Biotherm Life Plankton Essence
  • Lancome Visionnaire Yeux
  • Dr Roebuck's Pure
  • Philosophy Purity One Step Facial Cleanser
  • J.R Watkins Co. Coconut Milk and Honey Hand Cream
  • Vichy Purete Thermale 3 in 1 One Step Cleanser

  • Prevage Anti-Aging Daily Serum
  • Prevage City Smart Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 50 lotion
  • Korres Wild Rose Brightening 24-hour Moisturizer
  • Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate
  • Clarins Multi-Active Night Cream
  • Clarins Men Super Moisture Balm
  • Sweet Like Candy by Ariana Grande Perfume Sample
  • Bioderma Atoderm Intensive Balm
  • StriVectin Tightening & Sculpting Face Cream
  • RoC Pro-Correct Anti-Wrinkle Rejuvinating Fluid
  • NeoStrata All-In-One Eye Serum (Definitely going to be one of the first items I test out!)
I'm currently testing out some products, so I won't get to these for another little while, but definitely let me know which ones you want to see reviews of! I'm excited to get testing!

Hope you're all having a great Tuesday!

Mini NYX Haul!

Hey everyone! So not too long ago, I went on a little road trip to Toronto and went to the NYX store which was super exciting for me. The NYX selection in the drugstores near me is pretty small and there are so many products I've wanted to pick up but just haven't been motivated enough to order them online (shipping to Canada is often crazy expensive and just not worth it).

Being able to go to an actual NYX store was such a treat because I could finally find the stuff I've wanted for a while now. I definitely had to restrain myself a bit though, because my mini haul could have become a huge, expensive haul very quickly. So even though I didn't get much, I'm pretty happy with my little selection of products!

What I picked up:
Lip Lingerie Liquid Lipstick in the shades "Exotic", "Ruffle Trim" and "Embellishment"
Dark Circle Concealer Correcteur
HD Blush in "Rose Gold"
Prismatic Eye Shadow in "Mermaid"
Let me know if you want full reviews, swatches or looks featuring any of these products in the comments below!

Drugstore Haul!!!

Hey everyone! I did a bit of makeup shopping at the drugstore today and I thought it'd be fun to share my purchases with you all!

Firstly, there some truly amazing sales going on so I definitely encourage you to go check out your nearest drugstores and hopefully find some great deals like I did! Secondly, this may not be the most interesting haul in the world (1. I'm on a budget and 2. I mainly focused on eye and lip products) but I'm so excited with my new purchases!!!

What I got:
-Maybelline Pumped Up! Colossal Mascara
-Maybelline the Falsies Flared Mascara
-Marcelle Kohl Eyeliner in Black
-Annabelle Smudge Liner eyeliner in Wahine Blue
-Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipsick in Sugar Plum
-Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Wine With Everything (Pearl Finish)
-Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Violet Frenzy (Pearl Finish)
-Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Plum Velour (Shine finish)
-Nyx High Voltage Lipstick in Wine & Dine
-Nyx High Voltage Lipstick in Tiara

I'm so excited to give these a try. I purposefully chose a few lipsticks with a pearl finish because I have a feeling those are really going to be big this year. I love the pearl/metallic range Lime Crime has put out this season but I'm not a huge fan of the brand itself so I'm looking for similar products elsewhere! Hopefully these come out nice!

I will try all these out and report back if any of them are great! (or really really bad).
Hoping you're all having a great 2016!

Little Beauty Haul!

Hello there! Sorry for the lack of posts lately, I've been super busy doing all sorts of cool stuff, so look forward to seeing tons of blog posts about what I've been up to coming soon! :)

I've picked up some cool things over my past few shopping trips and I thought I'd share them!

  • Bath & Bodyworks Warm Vanilla Sugar body lotion
  • MAC Amplified creme lipstick in Impassioned
Just about the most gorgeous bright fuchsia!

  • Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation
  • Lise Watier Eau Miscellaire
  • L'Oreal "The One Sweep" sculpting blush duo
  • Sally Hansen Nail Art Pen
  • Rimmel Moisture renew lipsticks in Coral Queen, Diva Red and Funtime Fuchsia
From left to right: Coral Queen, Funtime Fuchsia, Diva Red.
I'm really looking forward to getting familiar with these products. I've tried a few of them and I'm quite impressed with my purchases! I'm also very intrigued with the Lise Watier miscellar water which contains no parabens, soap, alcohol, fragrance, dyes or oil.

Let me know if you want me to review any of these!

Lush Haul!

So... I went to Lush the other day and thought I'd show you all some of the goodies I picked up from there! I had never actually been inside Lush or tried any of their products before, but I had heard such good things about them that I decided to change that! Here's some of the things I picked up!

1) Cynthia Sylvia Stout Shampoo (or as the lady in the store called it, "their famous beer shampoo")
I was a little on the fence about getting this but I decided to give it a shot. I'll probably give it a full review later on. I got the 100mL bottle which was $9.95

2) Jasmine & Henna Fluff Eaze Hair Treatment
I got this in hopes of finally finding a good hair treatment that will tame my thick, wild hair. What sold me is their claim that it will "smooth and soften fluffy, frizzy and dry hair". I've used it once so far, and it seems to have made a little bit of a difference. I'll write up a review of it once I've finished the whole pot. The price was $22.95 for a 220g pot.

3) Butterball Bath Ballistic
Of course, I couldn't leave Lush without picking up one of their bath bombs, and I am SO excited to try this out!! I've read such good things about it, and if it does as it says, I'm sure I won't be disappointed. Vanilla is one of my favourite scents and I just adore cocoa butter, so I have high hopes for this product! This was $4.95.

4) Charity Pot
I also picked up the the small 45g charity pot, which is a "luxurious cocoa butter cream". I really really love this, not only because of the fact that I know that 100% of the price I paid is going to a good cause, but... because it smells like chocolate. YUM.

5) Heavanilli Massage Bar
Perhaps my favourite purchase of all! This massage bar smells INCREDIBLE. As I mentioned before, I love the scent of vanilla and I cannot wait to use this and bring this scent around with me. If you love vanilla like I do, go give this a sniff, its amazing. I thought it was a bit pricey at $10.95 but with a smell like that, I couldn't resist (darn you Lush!!!)

I'm so happy with my purchases, and I'll probably review these as I try them. I have a feeling Lush and I are going to have a long, happy relationship ;)

Also, the massage bar and Butterball together are leaving the most lovely scent! My room smells delicious!!!
