Love Letters and Lace

I'm always down for a good face mask and pampering session, but there's something about cold weather that makes face masks all the more enjoyable.  A while back, Nip + Fab came out with a super great range of Kale products (yup, it's not just a super food for your stomach anymore!), and they're super hydrating, which is definitely what is ever so needed in the colder months. I've been getting a lot of use from the Kale Fix Clay Mask, which just might be my favourite from the range!  This face mask was super pleasant. It has a slight, non overpowering scent, and a smooth creamy feel to it. You know you're getting lots of hydration while wearing it. I've been loving this lately, now that it's getting pretty cold over here and my skin is starting to get dryer than usual.  I notice a difference in my skin with just one use; it's softer and more plump, which is exactly that I look for in my skincare. Definitely been loving this one lately!

Have you ever gotten so frustrated with your current makeup or skincare situation that you frustratedly purchase a bunch of new products hoping to find something to make it all better? No? Just me? I was having the absolute worst time trying to deal with my skin lately. It's just been so incredibly dry and flaky, nothing in my current routine could fix it. For this week's Foundation Friday, I'm going to be talking about Maybelline's Dream Wonder foundation which I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with. I was initially very drawn to it, despite the very mixed reviews I had read/watched, because of the claims the product made. I really did have to try it for myself.
