As I'm sure many of you know, yesterday was National Best Friends day, and luckily I was able to spend the day (and night!) with my best friend. We had such a great time that we figured a blog post about it was definitely a good idea. While we don't get to see each other the most often, it's the times like these that count the most because there is not all that much that can replace the 2 am laughter and the endless snacking and gossiping. As per usual, our get together's begin with baking. Sometimes our creations come out good, sometimes not so much, but this time our cupcakes came out amazingly. (They also taste fantastic in case anyone was wondering!). We made chocolate fudge cupcakes with baby blue and lavender vanilla icing, which looked (in my opinion), absolutely gorgeous. Besides that, the baking and decorating process is 1000x more fun when you do it with a friend. Also, playing a throwback thursday playlist is essential. After baking, we cr
