Along with the chilly weather, holiday music and festive decorations, December also brings along another yearly favourite: Holiday parties. Be it for work, with friends or with family, you will most likely attend a holiday party/get together or two during the month of December. So, be it formal or casual, evening or daytime, if you're looking for some fashion inspiration, you've come to the right place! I've gathered a few of my favourite formal and casual looks that will be perfect for any holiday party. A lot of these would also look fantastic on New Years Eve too! As you'll probably notice, I'm loving cute sweaters when it comes to casual looks and when it comes to formal holiday wear, I'm all about sequins! I can't resist a little sparkle! I've mentioned in several blog posts before that a big thing I'm working on in my life is being a happier person and really focusing on self-care and being kind to myself. I thought I'd write about some of the things I like to do when I'm sad that always help me feel better, and hopefully this can help some of you out for when you're next feeling down. 1) Watch a funny movie  This is my go-to thing to do when I'm feeling sad or anxious. Watching a movie to take your mind of things and make you laugh out loud always helps. (Side note; a few episodes of Friends also does the trick!) 2) Comfort food When I'm feeling really down, along with my funny movie, I like to have some yummy comforting food. Soup and hot chocolate are usually my top choices. Something warm and familiar usually does the trick. 3) Talk to a friend Sometimes talking it out with a friend is the best therapy.
