Saturday Swatches: Clinique All About Eyeshadow Quad

I love Clinique skincare. But when it comes to their makeup products, I really haven't tried all that much. A while back  I went to a Cosmetics Company Outlet, and this quad was included in one of the sets I picked up.
These aren't really colours I'd normally gravitate towards, but the more I look at it, the more I find it super pretty. The shadows themselves are very smooth and decently pigmented. I find them pretty easy to blend as well.
My only issue with this quad is that I wish there was a matte transition shade. The shade 'Sunset Glow' might have been it, but it comes off a bit more on the metallic side when applied to the skin.

Regardless, you can still create a pretty and cohesive look using only this palette, for sure. I really do think this was a well thought out quad that gives you the basics you absolutely need: a creamy white/highlight shade, a crease shade, your pop of colour and a dark shade to smoke it up.
As you can see, Sand Dunes is the only truly matte colour in the quad, and is a bit on the powdery side, but still buttery and pigmented nonetheless.

Anyway, I thought this was a cute quad and it's something different than everything else in my collection! What's your favourite eyeshadow quad?

Review: Lush Cynthia Sylvia Stout Shampoo

Hello there! So I've been on the hunt for a shampoo to tame my wild hair for ages, so I picked up this during my recent Lush visit  in hopes that it would help with my thick, coarse, dry hair. According to Lush , this has: Stout to calm:  For all hair types but especially beneficial for fluffy, hard-to-manage hair. Friend to all scalps:  Yeast improves the health of the hair and scalp. For a polished finish:  Organic lemon juice is a gentle cleanser that adds masses of shine and gloss. After using this for a little while now, I can say that I'm pretty much still on the fence about it.  Pros:  Though my hair is still a little frizzy, its definitely a bit better than it used to be. My hair is also softer to the touch and shinier.  Cons: I've noticed my hair gets greasier a lot quicker since using this shampoo. I also feel as though it may be drying out my scalp, but it'll take a little more time to know for sure if its because of th...
