My Current Skincare Routine! (+ Reviews)

One of my New Years resolutions this year was to get more serious about my skincare routine. In the past I've always been the type of girl who only needed a cleanser and a moisturizer and I was good to go. Now that I've been paying more attention to what my skin needs and using products catered to those needs, my skin has never been better. I have very dry skin, and struggled with dullness and sensitivity for a while as well. I thought I'd share my current skincare routine because these products have changed the game for my skin. Cleansers:  When it comes to getting my skin clean, there are 2 products I'm loving. For removing my eye makeup, I use the L'Oreal Sublime Soft Gentle Micellar Solution . This is one of the few micellar waters I've tried that both removed all my makeup effortlessly (no harsh scrubbing required!) but also doesn't sting my eyes.  For washing my face, I've been loving the Olay Fresh Effects Out of this Swirled Deep P

Anastasia Bevely Hills 'China Rose' Single Shadow (SWATCHES)

How gorgeous is this shadow? I've started building up my collection of single shadows and I've gotten some so beautiful that I just have to swatch them! ABH's single shadows have some of the nicest formulation around. They are so pigmented, buttery smooth and easy to blend. China Rose looks so incredible when the light hits it! Let me know what your favourite single shadows are! Anything you'd like to see swatched? Happy Boxing Day shopping! xo

How to Wear ANY Shoes this Holiday Season... Painlessly!

I have a bit of a love hate relationship with heels. I have many gorgeous pairs and as much as I love how they look while on... I either end up avoiding wearing them, or switching to a pair of cozy flats by the end of the night, and I know I'm not alone on that. So when I was approached by Sole Patches to test out their product, which claimed to take away all of the discomfort of wearing heels all day, I was definitely intrigued. Of course, I wouldn't recommend a product without testing it myself thoroughly, so I put these to the test, and here's what I found:  So, first of all, what exactly are they? Sole Patches are little cushioning adhesive patches that you apply directly onto the balls or heels of your feet (or direction onto your shoes) in order to relieve that soreness you get from wearing heels for many hours. They also claim to have anti-moisture, anti-bacterial and anti-odour properties.  What I Found:  When I first saw these, I knew exactly whic

PROJECT PAN! (Winter 2016/17)

If there's something I learned from my no-buy back in the Fall, it's that I really do have a LOT of makeup, a lot of it that has been sitting around, unused or half used and forgotten. That's why I decided I'm going to start my own Project Pan, to use up some of the products that need some loving/need to go. So from now until March 20th, 2017, I'm going to be working on finishing up these products! The products: Maybelline 'The Blushed Nudes' palette Benefit 'The Porefessional' Primer Marcelle Kohl Eyeliner Maybelline 'Fit Me' Concealer Covergirl 'Ready Set Gorgeous' Foundation Nyx Prismatic Eyeshadow in 'Girl Talk' All of these are products that I love, but have either been a bit neglected in my routine, or have just been lingering around for way too long. So I chose them to encourage myself to put them to more use. As you can see, I've already made a significant dent in this palette. My goal is to hit p

Monday Motivation

Happy Monday everyone! Here's your motivation for this week. So many times I've put myself down and held myself back because of past failures. Don't ever let that stop you. The past is the past, look forward and keep trying to reach your goals. I had a rough past couple weeks, mostly because I was dwelling on one particularly bad day. Yeah, it happened and it sucked. But there's no reason to keep bringing down my good present thinking about the bad past. Have a great week everyone! xo
