Review: Lush Heavanilli Massage Bar

This was the first Lush massage bar I've ever tried, so it was definitely a whole new experience for me. As I mentioned in my Lush Haul post, I completely fell in love with the smell of this (I'm a sucker for vanilla scents!) and I just HAD to buy it.

Overall, I enjoyed this a lot. Its much more moisturizing than a simple body lotion, so I'm thinking my skin will thank me for these when the winter hits! After you rub this onto you, it does leave a greasy, sticky film onto your skin, so this is something you'd want to use on a night in after a bath, or a good few hours before you go out.

TIP: You could pair this massage bar with Lush's Vanilla Puff Dusting Powder , which will help cut the greasy feeling and just enhance the heavenly vanilla smell!

The bar melts at your skins temperature and glides smoothly onto your skin. It smells great, it feels great, and once it sinks into your skin, you'll be soft and smooth all over, its amazing. Once on your skin, it doesn't smell quite as the bar itself does (as scents tend to do), but it still smelled incredible. To me, it was like a mixture of vanilla, white chocolate and a hint of coconut.

TIP: Don't rub the pink part of the bar directly onto your skin, as you'll just be left with a pink smear. Instead, get it onto your finger and rub it into your lips. It moisturizes them so well, and leaves them nice and soft. It also leaves a faint pink tint AND tastes pretty nice too!

In all, I really loved this and I'm looking forward to trying more of Lush's massage bars. I was a little bit put off by the $10.95 price tag but after using it twice all over my arms, legs and any other rough patches, I've hardly made a dent much of a dent in it, so I'm sure I'll get my moneys worth.

EXTRA BONUS: my room smelled heavenly all day after using it!

Have any of you tried it? What did you think? Let me know!

Review: Lush Cynthia Sylvia Stout Shampoo

Hello there! So I've been on the hunt for a shampoo to tame my wild hair for ages, so I picked up this during my recent Lush visit  in hopes that it would help with my thick, coarse, dry hair. According to Lush , this has: Stout to calm:  For all hair types but especially beneficial for fluffy, hard-to-manage hair. Friend to all scalps:  Yeast improves the health of the hair and scalp. For a polished finish:  Organic lemon juice is a gentle cleanser that adds masses of shine and gloss. After using this for a little while now, I can say that I'm pretty much still on the fence about it.  Pros:  Though my hair is still a little frizzy, its definitely a bit better than it used to be. My hair is also softer to the touch and shinier.  Cons: I've noticed my hair gets greasier a lot quicker since using this shampoo. I also feel as though it may be drying out my scalp, but it'll take a little more time to know for sure if its because of th...
