August Favourites

Another month has ended, and with it brings tons of more amazing products that I've loved all month long! Here's what I loved the most:

Too Faced Born This Way foundation
I'll probably write a full, in-depth review of this product but OMG. This foundation has taken the #1 spot in my list of favourite foundations. Its honestly so incredible and I've been using it every day. I'd recommend it to anyone. I can't get enough of it. It looks so natural, feels so lightweight and nice on the skin, yet offers great coverage.

Lush R&B Hair moisturizer
It's been super hot and humid in August where I live, and that usually causes my hair to be out of control and frizzy but this product has honestly saved me. Besides the fact that it smells soooo nice, it makes my hair manageable and soft. I usually put it in my hair when its still wet, but you can also put it in while your hair is dry to tame frizz and flyaways. It's a must have product if you ever have issues with frizziness!

Jergens Shea Butter Deep Conditioning Moisturizer
I cannot say enough good things about this moisturizer. I've had some extremely dry skin lately (because of the sun) and this moisturizer has worked miracles. It smells super lovely and sweet, and it makes my skin incredibly soft without the gross, greasy feeling. It's also amazing to put on freshly shaved legs to make them extra smooth!!

Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream in "San Paulo"
All around amazing product. Tastes nice, creamy formula that dries into the loveliest satin finish and the colour lasts ages. I've been wearing it every day for the past 2 weeks and I just cant get enough of it. The shade I have is in a lovely natural looking pink which is perfect for every day use to add that little something extra to your lips.

Victoria Secret Strappy Back Leopard Lace Push-up Bra
Aaaaahhhhhh probably my favourite purchase of the month. This bra is SO pretty its not even funny. It looks so incredible with the open-backed shirts that Pink sells and its also incredibly comfortable (bonusss!). I'm so glad I bought this, I honestly just can't get over how cute it is!

Shellac Manicure
So as you may have seen in my previous post, I recently went on vacation. Before leaving I decided to give shellac manicures a shot, since its something I've never tried before and I wanted to spring for a longer lasting manicure since I would be at the beach and knew my nail polish would be chipping like crazy. I know its nothing new, but to anyone who hasn't had a shellac manicure before, I very strongly suggest you try it out. I cannot praise it enough. 2 weeks of incredibly, shiny colour without a single chip. My nails were stronger than ever and did not break at all (and my nails usually break like nobody's business). It is so incredibly worth it and since I've now had it removed, I can tell you that my nails are still in great condition (it caused them no damage whatsoever besides a little dryness). It was definitely worth the money and I will be doing it again as soon as the semester is over! (Damn no nail polish during clinicals rule)

What did you love this month? Let me know! Hope you all had a lovely August and have an even lovelier September!

The BEST and EASIEST Waffle Recipe! (Blogmas Day 9)

Review: Lush Cynthia Sylvia Stout Shampoo

Hello there! So I've been on the hunt for a shampoo to tame my wild hair for ages, so I picked up this during my recent Lush visit  in hopes that it would help with my thick, coarse, dry hair. According to Lush , this has: Stout to calm:  For all hair types but especially beneficial for fluffy, hard-to-manage hair. Friend to all scalps:  Yeast improves the health of the hair and scalp. For a polished finish:  Organic lemon juice is a gentle cleanser that adds masses of shine and gloss. After using this for a little while now, I can say that I'm pretty much still on the fence about it.  Pros:  Though my hair is still a little frizzy, its definitely a bit better than it used to be. My hair is also softer to the touch and shinier.  Cons: I've noticed my hair gets greasier a lot quicker since using this shampoo. I also feel as though it may be drying out my scalp, but it'll take a little more time to know for sure if its because of th...
