Autumn

Autumn is by far my favourite season. I don't quite know what it is, but something about it just makes me feel warm and happy inside, even though it's only getting chillier outside. Honestly, I could never pinpoint just one thing about the season that makes it the one I prefer of them all. Everything just seems more crisp and bright and cozy. It almost makes me feel nostalgic, although I'm not quite sure for what. All I know is that there are so many things about autumn that make it pretty much better than the others;

Big cozy sweaters
Warming your hands with a hot drink
Watching a movie under a big fluffy blanket
Apple picking
Pumpkin pie
Pumpkin spiced lattes
Pumpkin everything
Cozy socks
Colourful trees
The smell of freshly baked anything
The sound of the crunching leaves as you stomp on a big pile
Warm cuddles

Halloween
Horror movie marathons
Fall boots with wool socks underneath
Holding hands to keep them warm
Seeing your breath in the morning air
Thanksgiving
Carving pumpkins
My birthday!
Drinking tea and reading a good book
That perfect, comfortable sweater weather
Thunder storms
The smell of the air in the morning
The smell after it rains
The smell of warm apple pie
Pea coats

I could probably go on forever. As much as I love the warm summer weather, there's nothing like the beauty of autumn to me. Maybe as an October baby, I'm a bit biased. But there's something about autumn that's so crisp and cool, yet warm and cozy and I fall in love with it year after year after year.

Review: Lush Cynthia Sylvia Stout Shampoo

Hello there! So I've been on the hunt for a shampoo to tame my wild hair for ages, so I picked up this during my recent Lush visit  in hopes that it would help with my thick, coarse, dry hair. According to Lush , this has: Stout to calm:  For all hair types but especially beneficial for fluffy, hard-to-manage hair. Friend to all scalps:  Yeast improves the health of the hair and scalp. For a polished finish:  Organic lemon juice is a gentle cleanser that adds masses of shine and gloss. After using this for a little while now, I can say that I'm pretty much still on the fence about it.  Pros:  Though my hair is still a little frizzy, its definitely a bit better than it used to be. My hair is also softer to the touch and shinier.  Cons: I've noticed my hair gets greasier a lot quicker since using this shampoo. I also feel as though it may be drying out my scalp, but it'll take a little more time to know for sure if its because of th...
