October Favourites!

It's November!
Hi everyone! I apologize for my little break from the blogging world. I needed to put my focus 100% on my midterms, but now that those have been conquered, I'm back and excited to share what I have been loving all throughout the month of October!

October is my favourite month, mostly because it's my birthday month, but it has my absolute favourite weather as well. I am SO happy to be able to be wearing my huge cozy sweaters again.
Nyx Lip Lingerie in 'Ruffle Trim'
The amount of times I've been complimented on this lip colour blows my mind. It's a really pretty warm brown nude, which used to be somewhat out of my comfort zone, but I've been loving it lately.

Maybelline Fit me! Matte and Poreless face powder
Once my Rimmel Stay Matte powder ran out, I really needed a good, new mattifying powder, so I decided to give this one a shot. I'm not too sure if I like it more than the Rimmel one, but it makes my skin look so smooth and matte, without the powdery, cakey effect,

Too Faced Shadow Insurance
I've been wearing a lot more colourful and shimmery eyeshadows rhis past month, and I needed something I could depend on to keep everything in check. This is a great product to prevent creasing and make sure everything stays where you want it to while lasting all day. I'm using a deluxe sample size and it's nowhere even close to empty, and I've been using it every single day for over a month now!
Essence Pure Nude Highlighter in 'Be My Highlight'
I really wish I found this product sooner. This is the best everyday highlighter I have ever used! It looks so natural and glowy, and doesn't accentuate any texture. Plus, depending on how much you apply, you can go from a subtle daytime look to a disco ball kind of glow with ease. All that, AND it's so affordable! There's no excuse not to pick this up!

Essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara
This has been my go to mascara all month when I wanted a more dramatic effect with my lashes. It volumizes like no mascara I have ever used ever. It really does make your lashes stand out. I was so skeptical about if this product would be all that great considering how inexpensive it was, but I was very pleasantly surprised.

L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in 'Amber Rush'
I heard the hype over this eyeshadow for ages but never really was convinced enough to go pick it up until lately but oh my god, is this ever pretty. It shimmers like no eyeshadow I have ever used before, it's almost breathtaking when it hits the light. I'm so tempted to go buy more shades of it now, it's that gorgeous.

These were the products that I particularly loved in October. I'm so sad that it went by as fast as it did! I had a really great month, and a lovely 21st birthday.

Here's to a great November!

The BEST and EASIEST Waffle Recipe! (Blogmas Day 9)

When it starts to get chilly out, I find myself making waffles pretty often. In fact, our Sunday breakfast usually consists of waffles of some kind. And in my house, I'm the designated waffle chef. Review: Lush Cynthia Sylvia Stout Shampoo

Hello there! So I've been on the hunt for a shampoo to tame my wild hair for ages, so I picked up this during my recent Lush visit  in hopes that it would help with my thick, coarse, dry hair. According to Lush , this has: Stout to calm:  For all hair types but especially beneficial for fluffy, hard-to-manage hair. Friend to all scalps:  Yeast improves the health of the hair and scalp. For a polished finish:  Organic lemon juice is a gentle cleanser that adds masses of shine and gloss. After using this for a little while now, I can say that I'm pretty much still on the fence about it.  Pros:  Though my hair is still a little frizzy, its definitely a bit better than it used to be. My hair is also softer to the touch and shinier.  Cons: I've noticed my hair gets greasier a lot quicker since using this shampoo. I also feel as though it may be drying out my scalp, but it'll take a little more time to know for sure if its because of th...
