Review: Arbonne Makeup Primer

Disclaimer: I was sent these products for free, for review purposes. All opinions, as always, are 100% my own!
If there's one makeup product that I tend to forget to use in my routine, it's usually primer. I've tried out quite a few primers that I feel like don't do much for my makeup or just don't make much of a difference so I often tend to skip it.

A few months ago I was sent some Arbonne samples to try out (you can read my review on the RE9 Advanced Line here) so I was curious if this primer would do anything different for my skin.
This primer is one of the silicone feeling ones that smooth out your pores and leave your skin super smooth. It reminds me a lot of the Benefit PoreFessional, minus the strong scent. This one has no scent, which I appreciate since my skin can be sensitive to scented products.
Thankfully I don't have any negative reactions to silicone primers, but I know some people do, so keep that in mind.

I definitely think my foundation applied nicer than usual on top of this primer. It really did smooth out any pores and places my foundation likes to settle after a couple hours of wear. I can definitely see this being a great primer to use in the summer, especially when it's hot and humid out.
Do I think it made my makeup last longer than usual? It's tough to say. I think this primer is more so a smoothing, perfecting primer rather than one that extends the wear time of your makeup.

Bottom line: If you're a fan of silicone primers, like the Benefit one, but want an option with better, healthier ingredients, I would absolutely give this one a shot. I'm someone who doesn't necessarily swear by primers and I used this one on a near daily basis, which says a lot about the product!

Review: Lush Cynthia Sylvia Stout Shampoo

Hello there! So I've been on the hunt for a shampoo to tame my wild hair for ages, so I picked up this during my recent Lush visit  in hopes that it would help with my thick, coarse, dry hair. According to Lush , this has: Stout to calm:  For all hair types but especially beneficial for fluffy, hard-to-manage hair. Friend to all scalps:  Yeast improves the health of the hair and scalp. For a polished finish:  Organic lemon juice is a gentle cleanser that adds masses of shine and gloss. After using this for a little while now, I can say that I'm pretty much still on the fence about it.  Pros:  Though my hair is still a little frizzy, its definitely a bit better than it used to be. My hair is also softer to the touch and shinier.  Cons: I've noticed my hair gets greasier a lot quicker since using this shampoo. I also feel as though it may be drying out my scalp, but it'll take a little more time to know for sure if its because of th...
