Review: Acure Aromatherapeutic Moroccan Argan Oil

My skin is going through a phase. It is drier than the desert in July and I've been trying my best to rehydrate it, which means I've tested out a TON of products in the past couple weeks, which of course I will review for you all. Today we're talking about the  Aromatherapeutic Moroccan Argan Oil from Acure, in the rose scent.

I am someone who swears by oils. Be it for my skin or my hair, I'm a huge believer in the benefits of using an oil to solve any of your dryness issues. This oil is a nice one. While it is argan oil, I find it has a subtle citrusy lemongrass scent (even though it says that it's rose scented!)

Alright so let's talk about what makes this oil great;

  • Lightweight and quickly absorbed
  • Multipurpose: works great in hair, on cuticles, and on any dry areas of the skin
  • Scent is subtle and fades away after a while
  • Suitable for sensitive skin
  • Organic, Vegan, Cruelty Free, Sulfate Free and Paraben Free
Honestly this is great stuff to have in your stash because of the versatility of it, I use it on my cuticles before doing my nails, I mix it into my moisturizer to add extra moisture and I use it in the tips of my hair as well for added softness. It's also great on dry elbows, knees and heels.

Highly recommend this (and I believe it's quite affordable too! around $13).

Review: Lush Cynthia Sylvia Stout Shampoo

Hello there! So I've been on the hunt for a shampoo to tame my wild hair for ages, so I picked up this during my recent Lush visit  in hopes that it would help with my thick, coarse, dry hair. According to Lush , this has: Stout to calm:  For all hair types but especially beneficial for fluffy, hard-to-manage hair. Friend to all scalps:  Yeast improves the health of the hair and scalp. For a polished finish:  Organic lemon juice is a gentle cleanser that adds masses of shine and gloss. After using this for a little while now, I can say that I'm pretty much still on the fence about it.  Pros:  Though my hair is still a little frizzy, its definitely a bit better than it used to be. My hair is also softer to the touch and shinier.  Cons: I've noticed my hair gets greasier a lot quicker since using this shampoo. I also feel as though it may be drying out my scalp, but it'll take a little more time to know for sure if its because of th...
